Recycle Christmas Trees in Douglas County

Douglas County residents are invited to recycle their Christmas trees at one of three convenient locations around the County beginning Dec. 26, 2008.

Signs indicating the drop-off location will be available at the following parks:

• Highland Heritage Regional Park, 9651 S. Quebec St., in Highlands Ranch
• Challenger Regional Park, 17301 E. Lincoln Ave., in Parker
• Fairgrounds Regional Park, 500 Fairgrounds Dr., in Castle Rock

Trees are mulched on site and residents may pick up mulch for free through March 1, 2009. Please contact the Parks Division with any questions at 303.660.7495.
