The Douglas County Rural Framework Committee will host a public open house on Tuesday, Sept. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room of the Douglas County Philip S. Miller Building, 100 Third St. in Castle Rock. There will be a presentation at 5:30 p.m. on the Committee’s progress towards identifying and evaluating land use issues facing the County’s rural community.
The public will have the opportunity to share their comments and concerns with the Committee following the presentation.
Over the past four months the Rural Framework Committee has been evaluating the County’s rural land use and lifestyle policies and regulations with a goal of presenting recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners this October. The finalized recommendations will be incorporated into future regulatory amendments.
