Residents are welcome to Douglas County’s annual free mulch pick-up on Saturday, October 10 and on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Castle Rock Water Treatment Plant, 1400 Caprice Dr. in Castle Rock. 

The County will also provide free front-end loader assistance to load mulch into residential pickups and trailers.

The mulch is 100% recycled tree trimmings and other brush clearings delivered to Douglas County’s slash collection sites by residents during summer months.
