From composting to recycling options, County residents now have access to a new Recycle/Reuse Resource Guide containing an A-to-Z list of recycling locations accepting everything from automobile tires and printer cartridges to athletic shoes.  This Guide, containing a variety of recycling and reuse options can be found at www.douglas.co.us/community/Publications_and_Packets.html.

The Resource Guide is not all-inclusive and is subject to change as listed options may be added or eliminated.  As a result, it is recommended that the company/organization providing services be contacted prior to any planned delivery of items for recycling or prior to responding to any Guide listing.

The Guide, compiled to benefit Douglas County residents, will be maintained by The Partnership of Douglas County Governments’ Green Partners Committee, including representatives from Douglas County, Town of Castle Rock, City of Lone Tree, Town of Parker, City of Castle Pines North, Town of Larkspur, Highlands Ranch Community Association, Highlands Ranch Metro District, Douglas County School District and Douglas County Libraries.
