Public Invited to Demo New Web Tool

November 24th, 2009

Demonstrations of CPSD-Project Records Online (CPSD-PRO), the County’s new web-based project tracking tool, will be held on Thursday, Dec. 10 and Friday, Dec. 11 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the Douglas County Administration Building, 100 Third St. in Castle Rock.

Planning Services, part of the Douglas County Community Planning and Sustainable Development (CPSD) Department, recently launched the new tool, allowing users access to current and archived projects.

CPSD-Project Records Online (CPSD-PRO) allows citizens to access a variety of planning projects such as: commercial, residential and industrial development applications; proposed zonings and re-zonings; subdivision regulation changes; long-range planning activities; and Community Services’ programs and projects.  Key features include the ability to view all associated documents; correspondence and exhibits, along with review status; related projects; and maps showing the project location, zoning and aerial views.  When viewing selected projects, users may e-mail the project planner directly and view the County Assessor’s Office web pages for detailed project information.

Access CPSD-PRO by visiting the County’s Web site at www.douglas.co.us and clicking on the “What’s New – Hot Topics” under Land Use in the left column.

This online tool was developed by Douglas County, in coordination with Computronix, Inc, the software vendor.  For more information please contact the Community Planning and Sustainable Development Department at 303-660-7460.
