Officials from the 100-year-old Douglas County Fair and Rodeo announce the birth of a new face……and it’s not one of the spring calves. 

Just in time for the August 5-8, 2010 Fair and Rodeo, themed Blue Jeans and Country Dreams, the event has a new Web face…a more user-friendly Web site:   http://www.douglascountyfairandrodeo.com/  celebrating all the best of the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo. 

“The new Web site is a more consistent reflection of the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo brand – the culture and character that are uniquely ours,” said Jonna Negus Pemberton, Fairgrounds Manager. 

“The site is not only easier to navigate but it is also designed to enable faster content updates so that our site stays more up-to-date,” she said. 

The Web site features special pages dedicated to information about 4H and FFA; Rodeo Events; Livestock Sale; Entertainment; Commercial Exhibits; Entertainment and Family Fun, among others.
