Primary Election is August 10 – Mail Ballot Only

Ballots mailed to affiliated voters on July 19. 

The Douglas County August 10 Primary Election is a mail ballot-only election. Polling sites are not available. 

To receive a mail ballot to participate in the primary election, a registered voter must be affiliated with one of the three participating parties: Democratic, Libertarian or Republican Party. An unaffiliated voter may affiliate with one of the three participating parties at any time up to and including Election Day. 

Ballots will be mailed to affiliated voters on July 19. If an affiliated voter has not received their ballot by Monday, July 26, they may request a replacement ballot by contacting the Douglas County Elections Division at 303-660-7444.

A one-stop, online service, www.DouglasVotes.com , allows a Douglas County resident to:  check voter registration status, affiliate with a party and apply for a vote-by-mail application:

  • To check registration status click on the Am I Registered to Vote this Year icon.
  • To request a mail ballot or to change voter information, click on the GoVoteColorado.com link right below the Am I Registered to Vote the Year icon. 

Vote-by-mail applications are also available online at the Clerk and Recorder’s Office at 301 Wilcox St. in Castle Rock and at the Motor Vehicle offices in Parker at 16522 Keystone Blvd. and Highlands Ranch at 2223 W.
